Despite the restrictions on the supply of weapons to Ukraine due to a whole set of reasons, Israel has the necessary possibilities to increase its humanitarian assistance. The President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine Boris Lozhkin stated this in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.

“I understand Israel's situation regarding military support,” he said.  “I think that what Israel can do is to significantly increase its humanitarian aid. I see no reason why Israel wouldn't do it. It's just a matter of time, I suppose.”

According to Lozhkin, Israel has accumulated rich experience in providing assistance to people in the midst of war and conflicts. In this context, Israel's aid to Ukraine may include donations to build hospitals and provide its doctors to help Ukrainian soldiers.

“One more thing, of course, is solving some problems with weapons, which, as I know, is a more delicate issue,” he added.
