Last week, the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine organized and conducted a departure of the pupils of the Machane Shuva Children's Camp to the entertainment center of the Lavina Mall.
Machane Shuva is a children's summer camp organized by the Union of Jewish Religious Organizations of Ukraine in conjunction with the Ronald Lauder Charitable Foundation with the support of the JCU. Since 1990, the Ukrainian Jewish schoolchildren and their families have been resting in the picturesque corner of the Kyiv region on the Teteriv river, while spending time not only enjoyable, but also useful. In 2002, a plot of land was purchased for the implementation of the project for non-formal education of the Jews, for studying Hebrew and English and for recreation and rest. The project is carried out jointly with the Ronald Lauder Foundation.
