Jewish Confederation of Ukraine is outraged by the horrific act of anti-Semitic terror in Pittsburgh, USA. We stand in solidarity with American Jews and sympathize with the families of those killed in this bloody tragedy.
Jewish Confederation of Ukraine is concerned about the growth of anti-Semitism in the world. The fight against any manifestations of anti-Semitism is one of the main tasks of Jewish Confederation of Ukraine.
Jewish Confederation of Ukraine supports the Show Up For Shabbat initiative of the American Jewish Committee and calls on the Jews of Ukraine, as well as all those who are not indifferent, to attend Shabbat services at a local synagogue to honor the 11 victims of the horrific attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
We will spend this Shabbat in The Great Choral Synagogue of Kyiv, Podil Synagogue. Please join JCU and AJC in honoring the memory of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting victims and standing up to anti-Semitism and all forms of hate by participating in the worldwide #ShowUpForShabbat campaign. All are welcome.
We are not afraid, we are not alone, and we are taking action.
