Hanukkah and Christmas are two holidays traditionally associated with belief in miracles. This year they almost coincided - the miracle of renewal and the miracle of birth.
Today, Ukrainians and Israelis more than others want to believe that miracles happen and will definitely happen, as they did many hundreds of years ago.
A star will rise, salvation will come and victories will be won.
