The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine assists the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine and leading Jewish communities and organizations in our country to monitor manifestations of anti-Semitism, and it promptly responds to the offenses based on religious and national intolerance. Law enforcement officers constantly monitor the situation to identify information about the radical sentiments of both individuals and organizations. A pre-trial investigation was launched into each of such facts. Operational and preventive actions at the places of concentration of radical groups are also performed.
Minister Avakov and the Ministry’s team take a professional approach to each case of anti-Semitism, informing us about the progress and results of investigations.
However, such coordinated work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is not to the liking of those political forces in Ukraine that would like to destabilize the situation in the country in order to pursue their interests. And to come to power on this wave. For this reason, they are stirring up in every possible way the individual incidents that could have happened in any other country. However, the timely and decisive reaction of the senior officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not allow them to implement their plans.
The work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine inspires confidence that the Jewish community of Ukraine has reliable defenders and supporters of the evolution of civil society on the basis of peace and tolerance, and at the same time intolerance to any manifestations of xenophobia and ethnic hatred. It is thanks to the effective work of Minister Arsen Avakov that we are convinced that Jewish life in Ukraine will develop and the Jewish heritage is reliably protected from vandals.
