The official annual International Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony held at European Parliament on 23 January 2019. Leaders of the European Union and representatives of Jewish communities from different countries participated in the ceremony organized by European Jewish Congress.
Chairman of European Parliament Antonio Tajani, President of EJC Viatcheslav Kantor and Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel, Yitzhak Herzog became guests of honor of the event.
The JCU delegation also participated in the event. Ukraine was represented by JCU President Boris Lozhkin, JCU Honorary President Boris Fuchsman, JCU Presidium Member, Chief Rabbi of Kiev and Ukraine Yakov Dov Bleich and JCU Executive Director Inna Ioffe.
