Leading Jewish organizations have approved a joint plan of action to combat anti-Semitism in Europe.

On February 12, the World Jewish Congress (WJC), the European Jewish Congress (EJC), B’nai B’rith (BBI) and the Transatlantic Institute of the American Jewish Committee (AJC-TAI) approved a joint Plan of action based on the declaration of the EU Council of December 6, 2018 on combating anti-Semitism in Europe.

The plan of action proposes, in particular, to strengthen cooperation of the European Jewish communities in the field of security, to improve the process of collecting data on hate crimes and to create common educational principles to counter anti-Semitism.

According to the initiators, these measures should provide conditions for the successful development of Jewish communities in Europe for many years to come.
