Volodymyr Zelensky met with leading representatives of the world Jewish communities. Given their influence around the world, the President called on Jewish leaders to spread the truth about the Russian terror against Ukraine, called “rashism” (“ruscism”), as much as possible. This was announced by the President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine Boris Lozhkin.
According to the President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder, who took part in the online meeting, support for the Ukrainian people in the United States remains at its maximum: “Today, the main question for the American society, for American Jews, is what they can do to help Ukraine.”
The head of the Supervisory Board of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, former Soviet political prisoner Natan Sharansky, who is currently in Kyiv, has offered the Memorial Center's assistance in collecting evidence of crimes against humanity committed currently in Ukraine, as the Center has been doing for the past six years in regarding the crimes of the Holocaust.
Although the war made adjustments to the creation of the Memorial in Babyn Yar, this complex will definitely be created, Volodymyr Zelensky promised. We just need to defend our state first.
