The Jewish culture in Ukraine has rich roots and history. However, serious printed publications about it are still missing. The Jewish Confederation of Ukraine decided to fill this gap.
The first such publication will be the five-volume edition “Material Culture of the Jews of Ukraine”. An illustrated guide to the cultural and historical relics of the Jewish people, preserved on the territory of Ukraine, will be accompanied by detailed information about the relics themselves, the personalities whose names are associated with certain works and structures, about the Jewish history.
The edition is being prepared for publication by a powerful team of scientists-authors. Publication of the first volume is scheduled for 2019.
