Metropolitan Sheptytsky Medal

In 2012, the JCU established a tradition of awarding the Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytsky Medal to the prominent figures contributing to the development of the Jewish life. Metropolitan Sheptytsky saved and hid Jews during the Second World War. We remember and respect his merits.

Famous cultural, public and political figures from Ukraine and other countries, such as James Temerty, Viktor Pinchuk and Ivan Dziuba, have already received the medal.
