“The diversity of our projects reflects the diversity and uniqueness of the Jewish life in the Euro-Asian region. In these trying times, we continue educational and social programs, as well as projects aimed at supporting the state of Israel, combating anti-Semitism, preserving the historical heritage of the Jewish people and perpetuating the memory of the Holocaust,” said the EAJC President Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili.

According to the EAJC website, Mikhail Mirilashvili also presented a report on the EAJC’s activities over the past year, the main activities of the Congress and a draft Resolution in support of the statement of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) condemning “any attempts to rehabilitate the persons involved in the crimes of the Holocaust and the genocide of the Gypsies.” The resolution has been adopted unanimously by the Assembly participants.
