The volunteers of the Juice Charitable Foundation presented gifts to the residents of the Assisted Living Jewish Home for Elderly, Holocaust survivors, and congratulated them with the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War.
The gifts from the Juice Fund were given to older people living in the Assisted Living Home for Elderly in Kiev.
The Juice Foundation unites Jewish youth, who fundraise to support Jewish sick children, pensioners and needy families.
As stated on the Juice Fund Facebook page, they started their activity in 2012. The volunteers “bring people together around good deeds and build a strong community together.”
The Assisted Living Home for Elderly in Kiev was built in 2003 by Jewish Confederation of Ukraine. This is a full-fledged apartment building where alone elderly Jews live for free. Their expenses are covered by the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine. Residents of the "Home" receive 24 hour qualified medical care, hot kosher meals, and necessary social assistance.
